About Us

Jim has pastored at Parkland since 1992.  He was born in Zanesville, Ohio then grew up in Orlando.  He received his Bachelors Degree in  Religious Education from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan then graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in 1977.

Jim is married to his high school sweetheart, Marcia.  they have two adult children, Blake and Lisa. Lisa and her husband Bobby have one son, Camden.  

Jimmy grew up in Winter Haven and graduated from Liberty University in 2003 with a degree in Business & Finance.  He also has a Masters of Religion in Pastoral Counseling.  He has pastored youth since 1998.
